Amber and Nick got married at the James P. Davis Hall. It was a beautiful day for a wedding and it was such an honor to witness the love these two share for each other. They are seriously two of the most genuine and sweetest people I have had the pleasure to capture and be around. Thank you Nick and Amber for choosing me to document your love story. ABOUT THE COUPLE

HOW THEY MET:

Nick and I met in high school. We played in the band together and he noticed me from my behind and that is when our friendship began lol. He went to basic training for the Army and 6 months later he called me and we have been together ever since.

THE PROPOSAL:

The proposal was absolutely perfect and so romantic! It was our one year anniversary and he took me to his parent’s farm to ride horses. Interestingly, on the way there I felt like I should have a ring. We rode through a cut out path his dad had made to the cross at the top of a hill. There was a surprise picnic and as the sun began to set I said, “I feel like I am on an episode of the Bachelorette!” He asked me to marry him and I said “YES!”

What was the best part or your favorite moment of your wedding day?  

The best part of the wedding day was the first look. It was the first time we were able to see one another on the big day and it was just the two of us. We were able to talk for a little, which we could not do during the ceremony. In no way did it take away from walking down the aisle!

Bride:  What advice would you give to future brides for their wedding day? 

Do no let anyone or anything ruin your special day. Decide ahead of time to make the most of it and to focus on your husband-to-be. There will be things that do not go as planned but the key is to expect the unexpected and have an unforgettable day!
